Project SURGENT
By being part of SURGENT, a flagship project from Hochschulmedizin Zürich, CVL is transforming lumbar spine surgery.
CVL is currently teaming up with doctors and other researchers at ETH Zürich and Balgrist hospital to transform lumbar spine surgery. Within the flagship project SURGENT from Hochschulmedizin Zürich a pipeline is being developed to pre-operatively visualize a 3D model of the lumbar spine, simulate surgery outcomes depending on screw placement and finally also providing surgeons patient specific 3D models during surgery with the help of augmented reality.
